Richmond, IndianaMetric Environmental was contracted by INDOT’s Greenfield District to provide on-call asbestos services. Services consisted primarily of asbestos inspections for demolition of various properties retained by INDOT for new right-of-way at locations throughout the Greenfield District (central Indiana). Properties inspected included single family residential homes, multi-family apartment buildings and commercial properties. The first contract was awarded for two years at an amount of $150,000. Metric Environmental inspected approximately 137 separate addresses (many with multiple buildings) under that contract. A second 2-year, $150,000 was awarded for 2009-2011.
